American bakeries range from wholesale operations that supply restaurants to neighborhood shops that sell bread, pastries, cookies and cakes over the counter, and many of them also pour coffee. Bagel shops boil and bake on site and sell out of favorite flavors by late morning; donut shops open before dawn and are often family-run; patisseries and cake studios take custom orders for weddings and birthdays and usually need one to two weeks' notice. Ice cream parlors, gelato shops and frozen yogurt bars are seasonal in the northern states and year-round in the South and on the West Coast. Prices are posted per item, by the dozen or by the pound, and most shops now take cards and mobile payment.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 6:30 am–3:30 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. The listed phone number is (855) 747-6347. Dallas is in Texas, in the South, where summers are hot and humid, winters are short, and severe storms in spring are a fact of life; businesses run air conditioning most of the year and many open early to beat the heat. Getting around Dallas is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Texas's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

The hype is real- soooo delicious! Bagels are warm, flavorful, chewy, and cream cheese is fantastic. It’s a true cream cheese, not a fluffy schmear. 9/10 because the bagels were a bit salty, but I liked that. Bag of 3 bagels was $15, includes container of cream cheese

Solid bagels. The texture was on point—the outside had a crisp, and inside had a chew. The bagel did not skimp out on the everything seasoning. The schmear was decent. I tried the elote one, and it was okay. However, the store sells bagels in counts of three, which I found unusual. Lone diners might find that three bagels and a container of schmear is too much. Seating is limited.

I’m usually skeptical when restaurants from other regions open in Texas because the food often gets “Texas-fied” and loses what made the original special. Thankfully, that wasn’t the case here. The space leans fully into the Texas vibe with cowboy boots, hats, and lots of Southern hospitality from the staff. Everyone was friendly and helped us pick smears and bagel pairings. If you’ve had PopUp Bagels before, these are exactly what you want—thick, chewy, doughy bagels served hot and fresh. We ordered the six-bagel box with all the weekly smears: spinach artichoke, elote, and chimichurri butter. Everything was delicious, and we started eating them in the car immediately. My only complaint was the lack of a sweet smear option this week, but otherwise it’s exactly what I remembered.

Got to try the bagels: a plain, a salt and an everything. And with plain Cream Cheese. Not bad, I prefer other local bagel shops better, not sure I’d go out of my way again to get them like I did today. No crazy lines this morning! Give it a try.

The line was out the door and almost to the end of the theatre that’s next door when we got there. The wait wasn’t bad. Took about 15 minutes to get the bagels. The 6 pack bagel was perfect for us as it was the right amount of schmear cream cheese even after applying a generous portion to each bagel. The bagels were very fresh. Came right out of the oven, straight into the paper bag, which then went straight into my belly. We got the spicy scallion cream cheese. It wasn’t too spicy and the scallion was fragrant. It’s a limited time flavor, which I hope will come back into rotation in the future. We were sad that we didn’t get to try the Sabatino Truffle Butter Schmear. Great bagels.
